Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Manage critical care drips including Insulin, Nitroglycerin, and more
• Provide care for stroke patients and perform cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Conduct trach care, PIV starts, and manage chest tubes
• Handle drain/tube management including Peg tubes and Foley management
• Operate PCA pumps and respond to telemetry readings

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• 18 months of PCU RN experience
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Proficient in PCU and critical care skills
