Compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to ascertain their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals. Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a wide array of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Continuously monitor client progress, revising treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes, thereby actively contributing to their healing process. Provide immediate crisis intervention services, including conducting risk assessments and implementing strategies for suicide prevention when necessary. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to coordinate comprehensive client care and treatment strategies. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards in social work practice. Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities to remain abreast of the latest research findings and therapeutic methodologies. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required. An active Pennsylvania license to practice as a mental health counselor independently. A minimum of two years of professional experience working with various populations, particularly those dealing with mental health issues. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and understanding. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods and recognition of their application in diverse situations.
