Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery / Mother-BabySchedule: 3x12-hour Days shifts; weekend coverage required for 6 weekends per contract.Assignment Details: Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers.Requirements:Minimum 2 years clinical experience.Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced).Charting system: Epic.Preferred previous charge experience and Trauma Level I experience.Patient ratio experience: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3.Responsibilities:Manage labor and delivery, including LDRP care and antepartum/postpartum care.Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections (scrub/circulate).Perform external and internal fetal monitoring and NST/OCT.Recognize and manage hemorrhage, magnesium sulfate, and oxytocin/Pitocin use.Conduct newborn assessments, thermoregulation, and provide phototherapy care.Support breastfeeding/lactation and discharge teaching, including car seat education.Start and maintain IVs, administer blood/blood products.Assist in basic surgical tasks and neonatal resuscitation.Compliance / Notes: State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal; previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as travelers.
