Company Description Megan Rich Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a locally owned practice with over 25 years of experience treating a broad range of patient populations, from sports and dance-related injuries to neuromuscular conditions. A team of ten physical therapists brings diverse perspectives and expertise in Pilates, Gyrotonic, Feldenkrais, dance, and other movement-based approaches. The practice offers a movement studio and warm water pool, providing Pilates and aquatic exercise classes for current and former patients, the public, and staff. With a strong emphasis on one‑on‑one care, the practice prioritizes both high‑quality patient outcomes and a supportive, satisfying work environment. Scheduling is intentionally flexible so that therapists can pursue professional growth, maintain work‑life balance, and take time for personal and family needs. Role Description This is a full‑ or part‑time, on‑site Physical Therapist role based in the Timonium, MD area. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of orthopedic, neuromuscular, sports, and dance‑related conditions, using evidence‑based interventions and individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, documenting findings, planning and progressing therapeutic exercise and manual therapy, and educating patients and caregivers on injury prevention, self‑management, and home exercise programs. The role involves collaborating with other therapists, utilizing the movement studio and warm water pool when appropriate, and coordinating care to support safe return to function and performance. The Physical Therapist will also participate in team meetings, contribute to a positive clinic culture, and engage in ongoing learning to enhance clinical skills. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans. Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality Patient Care, including compassionate communication, patient education, and collaboration with families and caregivers. Experience or interest in integrating Medicine‑related principles into musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessment and treatment. Ability to support Home Care and carryover through clear home exercise instruction, self‑management strategies, and functional goals. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; valid Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of Maryland. Prior outpatient orthopedic, sports, or neuromuscular rehab experience preferred; interest in dance medicine, Pilates, or aquatic therapy is a plus. Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining one‑on‑one care standards.
