Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI preferred Must-Have: Care of Geriatric patients or past inpatient Rehab experience (Swing Bed Patients) Wound Care skills Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry specialty. The unit has 24 beds with patient ratios of 6-7:1. There is no unit secretary, tech, or extra RN when no tech is available. Standard Med/Surg equipment is utilized. Documentation is conducted using Cerner. Scheduling requires working three 12-hour shifts. Floating is rare within the unit. The patient population comes from an affluent community, leading to concierge service expectations. The unit fosters an excellent culture and teamwork. Recruitment has been challenging in this region, resulting in vacancies. There is a focus on minor procedures related to wound care performed on the unit. Nurses are expected to wear navy uniforms or navy tops with white bottoms. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are in place.
