Senior Bridge Project Engineer

What We’re Looking For Join our dynamic New York Office as a Senior Bridge Project Engineer focused on Bridge Design and Analysis. You will produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects, consult with the project manager, conduct research, development, calculations, design and delivery, and apply engineering techniques and design criteria to complex projects. You may also mentor junior engineer staff. What You’ll Do: Use senior‑level technical expertise to consider a broad range of engineering solutions. Plan, distribute work and lead the discipline to meet schedule and budget for complex or unusual projects. Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation. Develop scope of work and manage adherence to scope and budget. Oversee completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve project objectives. Coordinate technical aspects of the project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level. Lead discipline delivery on larger, multi‑disciplinary projects and work closely with other disciplines. Assist with coordination and planning of schedules, hours and work distribution for other disciplines on multi‑disciplinary projects. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience. Master’s degree in Engineering and 7 years of relevant experience. PhD in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience. What You’ll Bring: Excellent technical knowledge and quality work across multiple discipline projects. Primary Focus Will Include: Bridge Design & Analysis What We Prefer: Master’s degree in Engineering. 10 years of relevant experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
