Job Description Controls Technician Our client, a global manufacturing leader, is seeking skilled Controls Technicians to join their team at their Holland, Michigan facility. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals experienced in troubleshooting and supporting automated production systems. You'll be key in maintaining and improving advanced manufacturing equipment-from robotics to PLCs-while ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across operations. Join a team that values initiative, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a dynamic, technology-forward environment. 2nd and 3rd shift openings Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and servo drives Provide ongoing technical support to operations, setup teams, and engineers Lead or assist with continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and uptime Implement and maintain a wide range of control systems across manufacturing lines Conduct system verification and ensure accurate documentation of controls-related work Support and perform preventative maintenance activities Mentor or assist other maintenance and technical team members as needed Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience with troubleshooting and maintaining control systems in a manufacturing environment Experience troubleshooting PLCs Proven ability to establish communication with control systems for diagnostics and programming Titles Encouraged to Apply: Controls Technician Automation Technician PLC Technician Electrical Maintenance Technician Robotics Technician Industrial Maintenance Technician #J-18808-Ljbffr iMPact Business Group
