Care Associate - Memory Care - 2nd Shift PRN Full-time Community Name: Wellspring Health Care Center Job responsibilities: Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents. Provide assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions for Memory Care residents to be as independent as possible in activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility). Participate in and lead one‑on‑one and group activities. Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory‑care laundry, and perform basic housekeeping within the memory‑care neighborhood. Ensure that resident/family/employee concerns receive timely responses and follow‑ups, striving for high satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co‑workers. Qualifications: Experience working with seniors with dementia, including participation in activities, preferred. Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond to emergency situations. May need CNA or CHHA license depending on state. Basic computer skills. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word required. Compassionate, kind, engaging, helpful. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization. Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.
