Adjunct faculty play a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction while fostering student engagement in a supportive Christian learning environment. Teaching opportunities may be available in undergraduate and graduate programs and vary by department and semester. Job Responsibilities Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives. Develop and implement effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance. Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas and Google Classroom) for course management. Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies. Communicate effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect, and service. Serve as a Christian role model to students, both inside and outside the classroom. Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility. We Are Looking for Candidates Who Have A master's degree, or significant professional experience, in the relevant field. A current teaching license. Demonstrated expertise in subject matter and commitment to student learning. Recent experience with the subject matter. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to integrating faith and learning within the academic discipline. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preference will be given to those who have the following attributes Professional experience in the field related to the subject being taught. Previous teaching experience in higher education. Familiarity with online and hybrid teaching modalities. Salary and Rank Adjunct faculty are compensated on a per-credit-hour basis, commensurate with education and experience.
