Aide - Environmental Services Laundry Technician

Join a dedicated team as an Environmental Services Laundry Technician, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a healthcare setting within the Pacific Northwest region. This role involves operating laundering machines to clean various textiles such as sheets, towels, and cloths, while ensuring all assigned areas meet established hygiene standards. Key duties include routine cleaning of patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, waiting rooms, and common spaces, as well as general facility upkeep like dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care. Additional responsibilities may include ground maintenance and safe disposal of waste materials.

Education:
High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience:
One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements:
Adherence to infection prevention protocols including Standard and Transmission-Based Precautions, proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment, punctuality, and professional communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Commitment to workplace ethics and safety is essential.
