Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Engineer to develop and support engineered mechanical solutions for commercial projects. This role works closely with sales, project management, and field teams to assess project requirements, conduct site surveys, and design customized HVAC systems that meet customer needs and project specifications.


The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering and MEP systems, with experience supporting projects across commercial, healthcare, and manufacturing environments.


Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to develop engineered mechanical and HVAC solutions.
• Conduct site surveys to evaluate existing conditions, understand customer needs, and identify project requirements.
• Design and develop customized mechanical systems based on project specifications and customer objectives.
• Present and review mechanical system design recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project managers and field teams as needed.
• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) industry.
• Experience performing heating and cooling load calculations.
• Proficiency in CAD and drafting software.
• Familiarity with mechanical system design for healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial facilities.
• Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
