Details Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Interventional Radiology setting Average daily census of 15-20 patients across 4 rooms Day/evening shifts, 3x12 hours (7am-7pm or 9am-9pm) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities No holiday coverage required Floating required to Cath Lab, EP, and IR units Uses MacLab, Cerner, HI IQ, Phillips Image, ACIST-IVUS, RAD-NET, DMS, INVISION, Xcelra, and MUSE systems Precepting responsibilities required Requirements Active RN license (MD or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab experience required 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment References must support at least 2 years of experience within the previous 3 years Community hospital experience preferred Skilled in procedures including cardiac catheterization, PCI, EP studies, cardiac ablation, pacemaker/AICD insertion, and vascular closure Experience with procedural sedation monitoring and administration of cardiac medications Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, EP, and IR procedures Assist with cardiac mapping, arrhythmia induction, and pacemaker/AICD insertion and programming Scrubs provided No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler First-time travelers are not eligible; prior travel assignment experience required American Traveler Job ID P-748778.
