This is a unique opportunity to step into a hands-on role supporting a multigenerational family with a significant and diversified investment portfolio.The family office is in the process of creating a more formal and streamlined infrastructure, so this person will have the opportunity to help build and improve processes rather than simply inherit an established accounting function.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, working closely with principals and outside advisors, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.What You'll DoOversee day-to-day family office accounting, including bill payment, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reportingPartner on the development and ongoing management of the annual family office budgetCoordinate with tax professionals, estate planning advisors, investment professionals, banks, and other external partnersMaintain accurate financial information and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing dataHelp establish and improve accounting processes, controls, reporting, and documentationSupport various financial and administrative needs across the family officeTake ownership of special projects and other initiatives as the family office continues to evolveServe as a trusted resource to the family and its external advisors, bringing organization and follow-through to a wide range of responsibilities
