We're Hiring: Purchasing Agent (DOD

Manufacturing)

Isometrics Inc. is a premier manufacturer of mission-critical fuel systems for the Department of Defense. We are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven, hands-on Purchasing Agent to manage our specialized supply chain, support pricing efforts, and assist with spare parts sales-ensuring every component meets the highest standards of military readiness and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do:

• DOD Compliance: Execute all procurement actions in accordance with FAR and DFARS regulations, including Buy American Act and ITAR requirements.

• Strategic Sourcing: Source specialized raw materials and manufacturing components.

• Supplier Performance: Assist in negotiations on price, delivery, and terms while monitoring vendor quality and on-time performance.

• Pricing Support: Develop, analyze, and maintain pricing Bill of Materials (BOMs) for purchased components and assemblies to support proposals and customer requests.

• Spare Parts Sales Support: Assist with sourcing, pricing, and fulfillment of spare parts to support aftermarket and customer needs.

• Problem Solving: Take a proactive, hands-on approach to resolving supply chain issues, shortages, and urgent production needs.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Sales teams to resolve discrepancies, support quoting efforts, and address non-conforming materials.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 3-5+ years in manufacturing procurement, ideally within aerospace, defense, or truck manufacturing environments.

• System Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office

• Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to perform comparative price analysis, cost breakdowns, and market research.

• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract restrictions.

Salary Start: $50,000 - $60,000 Plus Bonus
