CNC Set-Up

Now hiring for a CNC Set-Up Operator Location: Benton, AR Pay Rate: $19.50 – $21.00 per hour Schedule: Multiple Shifts

Job Duties

• Perform basic CNC machine set-up function by loading preset CNC programs and making minor, approved adjustments to support proper machine operation.
• Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce acceptable product according to work instructions, set-up documentation, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Perform basic in-process inspection using established methods; record results and notify appropriate personnel of defects, dimensional concerns, or process deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments such as off-sets or taper adjustments and basic preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, filters, lubricants, and other routine machine-care items.
• Stack and transport product via hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance. Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment. Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a CNC Set-Up.
