Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform and assist with all interventional radiology procedures while adhering to strict safety protocols
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality for each procedure
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide exceptional care before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures clearly, and ensure comfort and safety at all times
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond promptly to any changes during imaging procedures
• Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and manage imaging files according to standards

Qualifications and Experience

• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
• Licensed or eligible for licensing as required by state regulations
• Proven recent experience in interventional radiology or similar imaging roles
• Proficient in the operation of IR imaging equipment and related technology
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining high standards of patient care

$2,760 - $2,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
