Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit following established clinical protocols and standards
• Monitor and assess patients with telemetry needs, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of up to 1:6 in accordance with unit guidelines
• Float to Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical Telemetry environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings and unit workflows
