eCommerce Operations Specialist

E-commerce LeadThe E-commerce Lead is responsible for managing day-to-day online sales operations across multiple platforms, including Amazon and Shopify. This role oversees order fulfillment, coordinates with operations and production teams, analyzes performance data, and ensures a seamless customer experience from purchase through delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Order Fulfillment & LogisticsManage and process orders through Amazon Seller Central and ShopifyCoordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillmentTrack shipments, resolve delays, and support logistics planning to meet delivery targetsMaintain inventory accuracy across platforms and flag restocking needsPlatform ManagementOversee daily operations of the Shopify store, including product listings, pricing, and promotionsEnsure Amazon listings are accurate, optimized, and compliant with platform requirementsMonitor account health, performance metrics, and resolve platform-related issuesProduction & Inventory PlanningCollaborate with production teams to forecast demand and align manufacturing schedulesPlan inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overproductionCommunicate timelines and priorities across teams to support sales goalsData Analysis & ReportingAnalyze sales, inventory, and fulfillment data to identify trends and opportunitiesGenerate regular performance reports and provide actionable insightsTrack KPIs such as conversion rates, order accuracy, shipping times, and customer satisfactionCustomer Experience & SupportManage customer service with escalations related to orders, shipping, and product inquiriesEnsure timely resolution of customer issues across all sales channelsContinuously improve the customer journey through feedback and data insightsRequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, fulfillment, or logisticsHands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify platformsStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar toolsExcellent organizational and project management abilitiesEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with inventory management systems or ERP toolsFamiliarity with digital marketing and e-commerce optimization strategiesKnowledge of shipping carriers, fulfillment processes, and logistics coordinationExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
