Store Manager

Position Summary As a Store Manager (SM), you will be a single‑unit retail leader responsible for leading your team to achieve operational and service excellence. Primary Roles and Responsibilities Develop and maintain a healthy talent pipeline, including hiring, training, performance management, and, where required, termination of employment. Ensure adequate staffing by scheduling to meet demand, publishing schedules three weeks in advance, and maintaining financial stewardship of store labor costs. Improve store performance measures (sales, service, loyalty, shrink, compliance, etc.) through coaching and a #OneTeam dynamic. Maintain a safe and high‑quality working environment that complies with all regulatory and company standards. Oversee timely and quality training of front store and cross‑trained colleagues. Conduct regular check‑ins with all direct reports to track business goals and maintain team engagement. Build strong working relationships with Rx Digital and Pharmacy Manager, pharmacy team, and other in‑store teams to foster a #OneTeam mentality and support a holistic total store staffing pipeline. Partner with Front Store DL to establish store priorities, implement new initiatives, and engage all colleagues. Act as an ambassador for CVS Health through professional behaviors and positive community engagement. Education High school diploma or general equivalent education (GED). Required Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Completion of all required training for the role within the required timeframe. 1–3 years of prior relevant work experience. Work flexible schedules including early morning and evening shifts; two closing shifts per week and a minimum of four weekend shifts per month are required. Ability to lift and exert up to 50lbs. occasionally, up to 10lbs. frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting. Ability to stand and walk for an extended amount of time. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Technician licensure. Bachelor’s degree. Anticipated Weekly Hours 45 hours per week. Pay Range $56,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year. Pay will vary based on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
