Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in CAMDEN, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an armed, driving officer. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. 1+ years military or law enforcement experience

Obtain and retain a secret clearance

Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Verify credentials, monitor entry and exit activity, and support access control measures involving personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders for sensitive environments, and reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
