LampD coverageReason for Coverage: Down 2 FTEs with a pending maternity leave. Outpatient OBs have been covering but are reducing their laborist shifts this summer.Dates of Coverage: 7/26 Sun 24 hours—gt 8am until 8am on 7/27 7/31 24 hours 8am until 8am on 8/1 8/2 Sun 24 hours—gt 8am until 8am on 8/3 8/7 Friday 9 hours—gt 8am-5pm 8/9 Sun 24 hours—gt 8am until 8am on 8/10Total Number of Beds: 10Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates: This is a teaching facility. OB residents will be present on LampD and can first assist. The laborists also currently help provide collaboration to midwives on LampD.Number of Exam Rooms: 10 LampD bedsNumber of Exam Rooms: 10 LampD bedsOnsite Lab: YesOnsite Ultrasound: YesDescribe Support Staff: Residents nursing staffWhat Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 20What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 80What Percentage of Practice is GYN: 10What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 25Nursery Level I II III: IIIDocumentation System/EMR: EPICTrauma Level/Designation: St. Vincent is a level 1 LampD is a level 4Required Obstetrics Procedures:Low Risk Pregnancy i.e. History of Twins Toxemia Pyelonephritis etc. High Risk Pregnancy i.e. with Toxemia Diabetes Class II or Higher Cardiacs Chronic Lung Problems Chronic Renal Disease etc. FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I/Screening Viability OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level II/Targeted AnatomicLabor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery –Vaginal Low Forceps Decision-Making for C-Section Complicated Delivery –C-Section Breech Multiple Births Abruptions etc. VBAC’s Repair of 3rd amp 4th Degree LacerationsGynecology Required Procedures: Operative/Major Includes Diagnostic – Ectopic Pregnancy Ovary Removal Cystectomy Extensive LOA’s Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation LOA’s Chromal Tubation Surgical Gynecology – Open Office/Minor Gynecology –IUD Cystoscopy Colposcopy Cryosurgery LEEP etc.Facility Reimburse for the Following Costs Flight Hotel Rental Car Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
