Pay Structure Driver Positions Pay Weekly Solo Miles Pay: $0.50 per Mile with 1538 Miles per Week Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per Stop with 39 Stops per Week Hours per Week: 51 hours per week Paid Training Schedule: Monday – Friday Start Time: 6:00 AM Dispatch Route & Equipment Deliver Solo: MN, WI Route: Dedicated Home Daily Tractor Type: Straight Truck Trailer Type: 16-26' Straight Trucks Equipment: Pallet Jack and Liftgate, to be trained by Ryder Freight: Touch – Auto Parts Truck Info Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance, and company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide. Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided Drivers are the Captain — you make safety decisions, and your job is protected 401(k) rollover available now + company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to specific eligibility criteria, including work tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience Pass a Ryder Drug Test Must have verifiable driving experience applicable to straight truck or box truck: 6 months experience in past 3 years, or 2 years experience within last 5 years, or 5 years experience within last 10 years Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Must have a valid driver's license Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned. Responsibilities Drive a vehicle safely, within and outside of the company’s standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records, load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer. Other tasks as assigned.
