Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pediatric CareLocation: Springfield, GAJob Type: Part-Time, 21 hours per week, 4pm to 8pmAbout the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide part-time pediatric care in a home setting. This role supports a child with special medical needs, including Cerebral Palsy. The LPN will work closely with the family and clinical team to deliver safe, consistent, and high-quality care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct hands-on nursing care for a pediatric patient with Cerebral Palsy or related neurological conditionsAdminister medications and treatments within LPN scope, following the care plan set by the supervising RN or physicianMonitor and document the patient's daily condition, noting changes in behavior, comfort, or physical healthSupport the family in routine care techniques, including safe mobility, feeding support, and equipment useAssist with daily living activities such as bathing, repositioning, hygiene, and therapeutic exercisesManage basic medical tasks including vital signs, gastrostomy feeding, suctioning, and equipment checks as permitted under LPN practiceMaintain accurate patient records to ensure compliance with state and agency standardsParticipate in training and stay updated on pediatric care best practicesQualificationsActive LPN License in the State of Georgia, requiredMinimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or neurological careCompassionate, patient focused approach with a calm bedside mannerStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and supervising cliniciansCurrent CPR certification or willingness to obtain it before start datePreferred SkillsExperience providing care for children with Cerebral Palsy or similar complex medical needsFamiliarity with pediatric medical equipment such as feeding pumps, suction machines, and mobility supportsStrong organizational skills with the ability to follow structured care plansBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceSupportive, family centered work environmentIf you are a caring and dependable LPN who enjoys making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
