Senior Business Development Representative

Our client is the observability platform built specifically for financial services - the technology that keeps trading systems, banking infrastructure, and capital markets platforms running when downtime isn't an option. They're a global company (London HQ, teams across the US, Europe, and Asia) with 25+ years in market, private equity backing, and 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant recognition. The US is their growth engine, and this seat is on the front line of it. What you'll actually do This is an outbound seat. You'll spend your days on the phone, on LinkedIn, and in email sequences prospecting into named financial services accounts - banks, brokerages, exchanges, and capital markets firms. Your job is to start conversations with senior decision-makers (think CIOs and Heads of Infrastructure), qualify them against the ideal customer profile, and book discovery calls for the sales team. Day to day, you will: Run daily outbound prospecting across phone, LinkedIn, and email into assigned target accounts Research and prioritize key decision-makers and stakeholders inside financial services organizations Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria Book and coordinate discovery calls and intro meetings for Account Managers Keep pipeline and activity records clean in Salesforce Partner with Account Executives and regional sales leadership on account strategy Work with Marketing on campaigns, follow-ups, and messaging feedback Stay sharp on financial services and technology market trends You'll report to the Global BDR Manager and work closely with the US sales team out of the New York office.
