Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Location 79 Jefferson St HH Bliss Wing (10064) Shift Details Interventional Technologist, first shift. Mandatory call required. Responsibilities Operate digital equipment and perform complex invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Have comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Work with contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiation agents, cements, resins, and embolization agents. May perform procedures in other departments such as operating room, cath lab, and multiple imaging modalities. Position is 100% clinical and may require mandatory call as needed. Qualifications State of Connecticut Radiographer license. ARRT certification in Radiography required. Basic Life Support (BLS). Graduate from an accredited radiography program.
