Cashier

We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate knows how to operate a cash register and product scanner, interacts with customers in a friendly manner, and provides assistance when needed. Responsibilities Managing transactions, ensuring pricing is accurate Accepting payments and providing receipts Bagging purchased goods Greeting customers upon entry and exit Balancing the cash register Scanning goods and verifying pricing and quantities Accepting cash, credit or check payments Providing change and receipts Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps and gift cards Processing returns, refunds, and resolving customer complaints Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Experience with POS systems and cash registers Basic computer knowledge Good math skills and multitasking ability Excellent communication skills Ability to effectively resolve complaints Previous experience is an advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
