Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Manage pharmacy operations at a busy retail location, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations. This role involves overseeing staff performance, maintaining inventory and budgets, and participating in community health initiatives.

Location: Oneonta, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Register and maintain status as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operation including budget management, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to achieve financial goals.
• Lead pharmacy support personnel, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, side effects, dosages, and drug interactions to optimize therapies.
• Maintain continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety and service excellence.
• Keep pharmacy facilities, including workstations and storage, neat and compliant with standards.
• Complete all continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License.
• Immunization Certification with demonstrated comfort administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience in a Pharmacy Manager role preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with commitment to patient care.
