Job Description Light On Anxiety's post-doctoral fellows receive the advanced clinical training, education and supervision needed to become leaders in anxiety treatment. The program is intended to last 2 years, during which time the post-doc will be provided with support on the licensure process and professional development opportunities, including supervision. The post-doc's primary responsibilities include conducting intake assessments and providing individual psychotherapy to clients of all ages. Opportunities for group therapy and psychological assessments may be provided based on post-doc interest. Training Activities Include One hour of weekly individual supervision One hour of weekly group supervision Participation in Light On Anxiety's Clinical Training Institute Responsibilities Maintain a full time schedule of 40 hours per week, including a minimum of 20 hours engaged in client sessions per week Provide child, adolescent and adult clients with assessment and empirically supported treatment via Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), depression, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), PANDAS, panic disorder, parent coaching, performance anxiety, phobias, separation anxiety, social anxiety, Tourette's syndrome / tic disorder and other anxiety, OCD and related disorders.
