Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of general surgery procedures
• Function across all surgical specialties supported by the general OR team, excluding Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery
• Rotate across varying shift times, including day, evening, and extended shifts
• Fulfill on-call requirements, including one weekday of call per week and portions of one to two weekends within a six-week schedule
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no restrictions or license hits
• Operating Room nursing experience across multiple surgical specialties
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to work rotating shifts and fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Broad surgical scrub and circulating experience across general OR specialties
