If you are looking to serve others, this is the place for youThe Administrative Specialist Position is located at Rockingham YDC in in Reidsville, NCJob Duties:-Maintains a filing system that includes employee personnel files, timesheets, and monthly reports.-Serves as the facility Time Administrator, Workers Comp/FMLA Administrator.-Handles hiring process for facility and communicates with JJ HR and CHR.-Conducts onboarding for new hires to include benefits overview- Submits paperwork for employee separations.-Processes HR actions such as LOA requests and pay actions.-Serves as point of contact for worker's compensation claims including completing and submitting claims to Workers Compensation third party administrator and ensures that the incidents are documented on the OSHA log/summary.-Composes written correspondences, answers telephones, takes and delivers messages, and processes incoming and outgoing mail and parcel packages and deliveries.-Performs miscellaneous administrative duties assigned by the Director and Business Officer and serves as backup for the administrative reception desk as the initial point of contact for all visitors and staff.-Serves as the back up for the facility Business Officer and other Admin Specialist with duties that include : motor fleet management of on site vehicles, processing invoices, entering and receiving E-Procurement requestions , obtaining e-quotes for goods and services, monitors updates in NCFS, and assists with p card purchases reconciliation.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesNC08 Salary Range: $39,244-$68,379DPS uses the Merit-Based Recruitment and Selection Plan to fill positions subject to the State Human Resources Act with the most qualified individuals.The Minimum Education and Experience (E&E) are REQUIRED to qualify for this position.
