Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Position Summary The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavior analytic services to pediatric clients with a range of medical and neurodevelopmental diagnoses. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, family-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support optimal developmental outcomes. Applies trauma-informed and culturally responsive care principles. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emerging research in pediatric behavior analysis. Conducts comprehensive functional behavior assessments tailored to pediatric populations. Develops and implements individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment data and evidence-based practices. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, OTs, speech-language pathologists, and physical therapists. Creates and updates behavioral master treatment plan goals. Provides support and collaborates with families and guardians to facilitate transitions and continuity of care. Supervises and trains RBTs and other support staff. Fosters a compassionate, family-centered approach to care. Educates and empowers caregivers through training and ongoing support. Advocates for children with complex medical and developmental profiles within educational and healthcare systems. Promotes inclusion and participation in age-appropriate activities and community settings. Develops family training plans for generalization and continuity of care during discharge. Ensures all activities adhere to healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Promotes a culture of patient safety. Ensures compliance with BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts and HIPAA regulations. Maintains accurate, timely, and confidential documentation. Participates in internal audits, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives. Adheres to organizational policies and payer requirements. Monitors and analyzes behavioral program metrics to guide data-driven decisions. Completes annual education requirements. Maintains competency and knowledge of current standards, trends, and developments. Participates in workshops, seminars, and continuing education. Completes required continuing education including ethics and supervision. Attends professional conferences, workshops, and in-service trainings. Engages in peer consultation and mentorship opportunities. Promotes stewardship of hospital resources while ensuring quality patient care. Collaborates with administrative staff to ensure accurate billing and authorization processes. Monitors service utilization and productivity benchmarks. Contributes to program development and sustainability through efficient service delivery. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience Minimum of 2 years providing ABA services to pediatric populations. Experience with children with complex medical and neurodevelopmental diagnoses (e.g., autism, cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes). Prior experience in interdisciplinary or healthcare settings preferred. Skills Strong clinical assessment and data analysis skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Licensure/Certification Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB. BLS (Basic Life Support) from American Heart Association / American Red Cross required; valid for a minimum of 6 months from hire date. De-escalation training within 30 days after hire.
