Industrial Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift | Harlan, IA A growing industrial manufacturing organization in Harlan is actively seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to support production operations through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment and facility systems. This is a full‑time, direct hire opportunity offering strong long‑term stability, profit sharing, and growth potential within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Schedule 1st Shift | Monday–Friday
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on‑call support as needed Profit sharing program 401(k) with company participation Paid time off & holidays What You’ll Be Doing Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial production equipment Troubleshoot and repair: CNC machines PLCs & VFDs Hydraulic & pneumatic systems Electrical systems (110V–480V) HVAC and facility infrastructure Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics Support facility systems including compressed air, lighting, plumbing, and power distribution Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities and work orders Assist with fabrication, welding, and component repair Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and NFPA safety standards Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives What We’re Looking For 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR equivalent technical training Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with automated manufacturing equipment Knowledge of CNC machinery, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems Comfortable using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Ideal Backgrounds / Alternate Titles Industrial Maintenance Technician Maintenance Mechanic Electrical Maintenance Technician Automation Maintenance Technician Plant Maintenance Technician #J-18808-Ljbffr MMC Group LPVacancy posted 5 days ago
