About Brooklyn Coop: Brooklyn Coop Federal Credit Union is a certified CDFI serving the Black and brown neighborhoods of Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, East NY, and Brownsville. Founded in 2001, we operate three full-service branches, serving 7,000 members with a wide range of consumer and small business financial services. Our mission is to build wealth, resilience, and opportunity by providing access to just and affordable financial services.
Position Description
IT reliability and IT security are the highest priority for a retail financial institution. The in-house IT support position at Brooklyn Coop will be the first resource for staff members with IT difficulties. They will also act as administrator for assigning staff privileges, updating software as needed, and will liaison with our existing third-party IT support.
Job responsibilities include:
? Resolving IT support requests from employees
? Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
? Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
? Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
? Generating sign ins for new hires during the onboarding process
? Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed
? Updating employees on the status of their service requests
? Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
At least 1 year of work experience.
Ability to work independently.
Salary and benefits
The credit union offers generous vacation and leave benefits, a 401K plan including employer match, and subsidized health care benefits. Salary will be commensurate with experience, in the range of $70-$75,000
