Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a screening-only mammography site in Ohio, requiring 1 year of experience and active ARRT and Ohio licensure.

Details

• Screening-only mammography site — no diagnostic imaging or interventional procedures performed in this role
• Inpatient and outpatient experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• No weekends and no call required
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Preferred procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Must be registered in mammography
• Active Ohio state license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Report documenting the number of mammograms performed since October 2023
• List of 25 mammograms completed under supervision during training
• Any breast imaging CE certificates earned since October 2022
• Mammography training certificate or documentation from training or diplomas
• 8 initial CE hours/training in Digital Mammography
• 8 initial CE hours/training in 3D DBT
• ARRT 'Verification of Certification & Registration' document showing registry exam pass date(s)
• ARRT Procedure Log completed during mammography training (required if certification was after July 2017)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local Radiology candidates are accepted for this position
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Any RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — no RTO will be added after an offer is made, and approval is at the manager's discretion
