Accountants One is partnering with a repeat client in the Atlanta metro area to find a Staff Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, high-energy team and grow your accounting career.

This is a hybrid role, and you'll support the day-to-day accounting function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, supporting audits, and partnering with teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules
• Support financial reporting and audit preparation
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management as needed
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency
• Support special projects and other accounting initiatives

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 1+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
