Exciting Opportunity for Outpatient Oncology Infusion RN!

Job Description:
- Position: Outpatient Oncology Infusion RN
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)
- Location: Travel assignment
- Experience: Preferred outpatient oncology experience
- Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Staffed Beds: 418
- Charting System: Epic

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult solid tumor oncology patients
- Conduct triage, care coordination, and navigation
- Educate patients on chemotherapy and oncology care
- Perform patient assessments and follow-up phone calls
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications:
- Required Licensure: Valid compact RN license
- Certifications: BLS, OCN
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in the following:
- Outpatient oncology or oncology clinic
- Emergency room with oncology exposure
- Skills:
- Medication reconciliation
- Vital signs assessment
- Patient education and teaching
- Triage and telephone triage

Unit Details:
- Patient Age Groups: Adults
- Daily Census: Varies in clinic settings
- Staff Support: Work alongside a motivated and dynamic healthcare team
- Special Equipment: None required

Important Notes:
- Must commit to working during shared services
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities
- Orientation: 40 hours of comprehensive training provided
- Must submit RTO and scheduling requests upfront
- Must avoid direct contact with facility personnel unless arranged
