Greenberg & Sinkovits, LLC is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing practice. We are looking for an attorney with at least five years of substantive family law experience who is a skilled litigator and negotiator, takes ownership of their cases, and is interested in building a long-term future with our firm.

Our firm represents clients in a wide range of family law matters throughout Cook, DuPage, Lake, and Will Counties. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal representation and practical, thoughtful guidance to clients during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

This is a primarily remote position . While our attorneys enjoy the flexibility of working remotely, regular court appearances and occasional in-person meetings, firm events, and collaboration at our Park Ridge and Naperville offices are expected.

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000, plus performance bonus opportunities

$100,000 - $120,000 plus Performance bonus opportunities

• Independently manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution.

• Represent clients in divorce, parentage, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, and related family law matters.

• Appear in court for case management conferences, contested hearings, pretrial conferences, trials, and other proceedings.

• Develop effective case strategies and provide clients with practical, thoughtful legal advice.

• Negotiate favorable resolutions with opposing counsel whenever appropriate.

• Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents.

• Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case status, strategy, and expectations.

• Manage deadlines, court appearances, and all aspects of case progression with minimal supervision.

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff while maintaining ownership of assigned matters.

• Accurately and consistently record time and meet the firm’s annual minimum billable requirement of 1,600 hours.

• Accept and implement feedback while continuing to develop professionally.

• Contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least five years of substantive Illinois family law experience.

• An active Illinois law license in good standing.

• Strong litigation, courtroom advocacy, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.

• The ability to independently manage a caseload while balancing competing deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent judgment and a high level of personal accountability.

• Outstanding interpersonal and client communication skills.

• The ability to thrive in a primarily remote work environment while remaining responsive, engaged, and collaborative.

• A proactive mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.

• Reliable transportation for court appearances throughout Cook, DuPage, Lake, and Will Counties.
