About This Role The Step Down RN in Med/Surg Oncology provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. Highlights Pay: $72 - $93/hour Location: Los Angeles, CA Facility: Los Angeles Medical Center Department/Unit: Med/Surg Oncology Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process. Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures. Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately. Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care. Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed. Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control. Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality. Act as a resource and mentor to new employees and team members. Organize work to minimize the use of overtime. Participate in problem identification and resolution.
