Schedule/Hours

• 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 18:00)
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between units
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized wound care and manage patients with HAPI, ostomies, or Wound VACs
• Conduct patient assessments, wound consults, and develop evidence-based care plans
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize healing and patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments and interventions using Epic EMR
• Provide patient education on wound care and prevention strategies

Desired Qualifications

• Valid RN license (CA or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Wound Care certification required; Wound, Ostomy Certification or WCC preferred
• Prior experience with Epic medical record system
• Strong clinical judgement and excellent patient communication skills
