Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up. Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting and related treatments. Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual. Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries. Ensure knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and related compliance standards. Be detail-oriented and confident in medical best practices. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office and EMR applications. Respect and autonomy in decision-making and a team-based approach to patient care.
