Test Engineer

Salary: $90,000 - 145,200 per year Requirements:

• We require an active TS/SCI clearance.

• We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; 4 additional years of experience may replace the degree.
• We need 5+ years of experience in manual and automated testing.
• We require willingness to work onsite five days a week in Herndon, VA, or Melbourne, FL.
• We need a hands-on approach to testing activities.
• We require strong experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for front-end and back-end testing.
• We require experience producing formal test documentation in a structured setting.
• We need familiarity with Linux and Windows operating environments.
• We require experience with Java programming.
• Preferred qualifications include end-to-end automated testing experience.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with continuous integration environments, especially Jenkins.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in cloud testing environments.
• Preferred qualifications include proficiency with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Cypress for automated testing, including build-time and nightly end-to-end runs.
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Fortify for security testing and troubleshooting Jenkins configurations.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with DevOps pipelines, including validation tests, services, processes, and reporting through Confluence.
• Preferred qualifications include understanding of unit testing practices and effective use of available data in low side environments.

• We execute manual and automated testing across low side and high side environments.
• We produce formal test documentation and reports to help ensure product reliability and quality.
• We apply hands-on automation expertise across front-end, back-end, and full end-to-end testing.
• We work closely with software and systems engineers to broaden test coverage and improve execution efficiency.
• We help evaluate, select, and implement the tools and technologies needed for testing.
