Job Description The Operations Manager is responsible for the client facilities and personnel under his/her supervision to ensure that the company provides professional and quality service and complies with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards established by the company, our clients, and regulatory authorities. The Operations Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the planned profitability of the accounts under his/her responsibility is realized. Compensation Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 annually. The pay listed is the salary range; a specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Responsibilities Communicate effectively with employees and clients to ensure fulfillment of performance and quality requirements. Maintain a positive relationship with client representatives. Control cost to ensure profitability of the area of responsibility. Recruit, hire, and train all employees in the area of responsibility in accordance with established procedures and in a cost‑effective manner. Ensure each employee receives proper training commensurate with job responsibilities and that all training is properly documented and maintained according to company standards. Ensure supervisors are properly trained and understand their assigned duties. Monitor compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements in the area of responsibility. Prepare and transmit payroll accurately and timely. Document, report, and process any injuries, incidents, or accidents appropriately. Monitor the safety program within the area of responsibility and communicate frequently with Safety Quality Managers to ensure compliance with all company safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Three (3) or more years of management experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Previous janitorial industry experience preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proven budgeting, expense control, and scheduling experience.
