Work Environment

This Nurse Practitioner role is set in a vibrant hospital environment where teamwork and collaboration are integral parts of everyday operations. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a manageable work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with the latest medical technology and resources to support clinical decision-making and patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical assessments and collect comprehensive medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, which includes ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Prescribe medications and oversee therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Engage in patient education and counseling, providing guidance on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Document all patient encounters, treatments, and care activities accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to joint clinical decision-making, enhancing collective insights into patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws governing nursing practice.
• Take an active role in quality improvement initiatives, staying current with best clinical practices through continuing education.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New Jersey.
• Board certification as an NP in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner).
• A valid DEA license and prescriptive authority are required.
• Excellent proficiency in EHR systems and solid clinical documentation skills.
• Demonstrated strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
• An ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and complex cases is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience, alongside an attractive benefits package that includes:
