Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled RN - Operating Room for a travel assignment at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA. The role involves providing exemplary perioperative care across various surgical specialties in a high-quality, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and assist during general, orthopedic, podiatry, OB/GYN, urology, ophthalmic, spine, bariatric, and Endo surgeries.
Maintain a sterile environment, ensuring adherence to surgical protocols and safety standards.
Document all procedures and patient information accurately using Meditech Expanse system.
Collaborate with surgical team members, including CSTs, ORAs, and unit coordinators, to ensure smooth operation.
Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code, patient experience standards, and floating within Surgical Services.
Respond to on-call assignments and provide coverage during rotations, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience.
Proven ability to assist with diverse surgical procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical safety standards, and documentation protocols.
