The ideal candidate should have the ability to work seamlessly in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment, an attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high food quality standards.The line cook works closely with the General Manager and/or Chef to assure an excellent guest experience, and as such, should have a team player mentality with excellent communication skills.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesIt must be recognized that all specific duties cannot be listed and that responsibilities will change accordingly as the need arises.- Execute menu items with precision and efficiency during busy service periods.- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.- Contribute ideas for menu improvement and innovation.- Perform other duties as required.Requirements- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.- Proven experience as a Line Cook.- Food Handler's Certificate.- Must be able to clearly communicate with other Team Members.- Ability to keep the kitchen area neat and clean- Ability to Stand 6-8 Hours- A positive attitude while on the job is also essential.PrerequisitesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
