- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, trucks, and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Inspect and test vehicle systems for safety and performance.
- Replace or repair components such as brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job.
- Stay updated on the latest diesel technology and repair techniques.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic with commercial vehicles.
- Valid CDL license preferred; ASE certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and diagnostics.
