Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at Wesley Medical Center. The RN will provide specialized care in a fast-paced ED environment, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to unit protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer emergency care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult cases.
  
  
• 
  Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedation procedures, and pediatric assessments.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergencies, and escalate critical situations promptly.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately within Meditech EMR system and scan medications per protocol.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure streamlined patient management and safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current RN license with at least 1 year of recent acute care emergency department experience.
  
  
• 
  Meet mandatory certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH CPI.
  
  
• 
  Possess Meditech experience and prior travel RN experience in large facility settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a high-pace environment.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a professional and patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
