Maintenance Technician III River Falls, WI, US 5 days ago Requisition ID: 3607 Salary Range: $29.00 To $44.00 Hourly Maintenance Technician III (Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM) Food Manufacturing Job Purpose Provide maintenance reliability systems and equipment consulting for the facility. Perform technical consulting in various offerings, such as root cause failure analysis, reliability centered maintenance, uptime, and system preventive maintenance. Essential Functions Identify, prioritize, design, and implement facility and equipment upgrades to improve safety, cost, capacity, and quality of manufacturing Assist in tracking maintenance, quality, and root cause metrics to analyze and create predictive maintenance activities Identify gaps in maintenance work practices and help develop procedures and controls to eliminate process deviation Perform repairs on equipment to prevent long-term downtime until permanent repairs can be completed Design/fabricate replacement parts or equipment as needed Lead maintenance projects including machine rebuilds, new equipment installs and startup Assist in the planning and coordination of plant shutdown maintenance repairs and improvements Assist in breakdown analysis and develop corrective measures to prevent recurring failures Participate in reliability improvement projects and collaborate with quality, production, and maintenance to identify improvements and create standard processes Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies) Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred 5+ years of experience in maintenance with a lean manufacturing background Strong fabrication and machining skills Ability to manage projects effectively, collect and analyze data, and develop and implement creative solutions to problems Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and within teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
