Network Technician

All hiring decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.Key ResponsibilitiesAdheres to OSHA safety standards in the Industrial workplace.Create, maintain, and ensure all safety documentation is approved by customer prior to project implementations (Work permits, Job Safety Analysis, etc.).Responsible for adhering to project deadlines including defined SLAs.Complete physical installations and removal of structured cabling components, i.e., cabinets, pathway systems (cable tray), racks, and related communications infrastructure equipment.Perform installation and service (including terminating, testing and repair) of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling (coax, HDMI), RF cabling, communication equipment and other various low voltage related systems.Perform upgrades and additions to cabling infrastructure systems to increase functionality and usability.Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems, and perform repairs as necessary.Installation and upgrade of additional equipment associated with Information and Communications technology systems on an ad hoc basis.Skills RequiredTechnical understanding of BICSI standards of various network cabling installations.Administrative skills with attention to detail.Basic understanding of networking concepts.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Must be able to possess a TWIC.Physical ActivitiesAbility to cover ground by walking and stand for most part of the working hours.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Must possess valid driver's license to operate company vehicle.Ability to work in areas that require PPENotes:- All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance.BenefitsDanta offers a compensation package to all W2 employees that are competitive in the industry.
