Mechanical Installer - Pay 24/hr, in Fort Wayne, IN

Role Overview

Help install robotic equipment and support general labor tasks inside a distribution center. This is a physical, hands‑on job involving tools, materials, and constant movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Install robotic arms, stations, and fencing
• Use pallet jacks to move and organize materials
• Follow diagrams and instructions for assembly
• Run wiring and assist with commissioning
• Perform general labor: cleaning, sweeping, carrying materials
• Work safely and follow direction from supervisors

⭐ Must‑Have Skills

• Power tool and hand tool experience
• Industrial or general labor
• Lift 40–50 lbs consistently
• Comfortable on concrete floors for full shifts
• Reliable attendance
• Able to follow instructions and work as a team
• Basic blueprint/diagram reading
• Willing to help across multiple tasks

️ Work Environment

• Large Distribution Center — loud, dusty, busy
• Work mostly on mezzanine levels
• Mix of AC and open‑air (can be hot)
• Very physical: walking, lifting, moving materials
• Dress Code: Jeans, T‑shirt, safety‑toe boots. PPE provided

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
